Rachel Walsh is the founder of Sanctum Skin Care Clinic where she practices her unique fusion of holistic therapy and cosmetic science to produce cutting edge beauty treatments. Her career in health and beauty began on entering a course of study to become a qualified practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine. Following clinical training in both Dublin and China she became a licensed acupuncturist registered with the Acupuncture Foundation of Ireland and Nanjing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

It was in Nanjing University, China, while pursuing advanced studies in clinical acupuncture, that Rachel first became aware of the powerful cosmetic effects of facial acupuncture techniques. This led to a process of investigation into the clinical application of holistic medicine to skin care and a post-graduate course in Cosmetic Acupuncture in New York.

Excited by the dramatic results produced by cosmetic acupuncture, Rachel consolidated her knowledge of dermatology by completing an intensive course of study at the Biologique Recherche Institute in Paris. Under the personal guidance of the founder and biological researcher, Ivan Allouche, Rachel was tutored in the fine art of facial and body rejuvenation.
